Specifying 60lb injectors

Post by assasinator » Tue Oct 10, 2017 3:13 pm

I have a question...

My cdan4 strategy can only calculate 40.2lb injector so any time a larger injector is specified everything has to be scaled. Ie. hi slope, loslope, transfer function, breakpoint.

When I started the tune for my turbo I specified 60lb injector with your sniper 3000 maf. It was pig rich and barely ran. Over time I scaled everything to run where I like it.

Why doesn’t the sniper special forces do the scaling when there is a 60lb injector option in the drop down menu?

Thanks bill

Also I don’t see cranking pulsewidth parameter. Cranking is still hit and miss even scaled

Unfortunatey, as it turns out, the CDAN4 calibration is notorious for being rich and is very difficult to set AF perfectly. It's going to require a lot of tweaking.
The MAF meter plays a big role with getting this calibration running good (meter location, blow through, draw through, any pipe bends just before meter, etc..).
Fuel pressure at idle set right?
Are the 60# injectors new/used?

If all of the above is good, might try adding two points to the Lo Slope fuel injectors. If that doesn't help then try adding two points to the high slope.

For the cranking, try cutting some fuel under a 1/2 volt of the MAF xfer.

Injectors are new. Blow through with 4” before and after the maf.

Lol, those are the things I did. I just lowered the airmass per volt below my idle airmass. It has been a journey.

I have load scaled with sarchrg at 4 I think.

After I get some runs at th track I’m starting over. Scaling the transfer function and slopes/breakpoint by half. Then get the load headspace I need for 22 psi.

My a/f is where I want it at full boost.
