2001 Mustang 3.8L Manual - code 62 no start

Post by jmacedo » Fri Jul 15, 2016 9:15 pm

The serial cable came loose while I was sending a tune to ECU. Its now stuck at work with error code 62. I've been trying all day to get the car to start but always with the code 62. My battery voltage was kept in range through out programming. Is there anyone that can help me? I am totally without a car until I figure how to fix this.

Disconnect the battery wait for like 5 min. then reconnect. if it functions like my 97 V6 mustang, your tune will be erased or slightly returned to stock. Hope that helps.

I had already disconnected the battery and waited about 20 min. That unfortunately didn't work. But good news is Chris was able to help me out and get my car up and running! :)

I'm not sure why I was checking emails this weekend but good thing I did. I'm glad you're up and running again.
