Special Forces - Powerstroke

Postby larssonautotech.no » Sun Feb 14, 2016 7:19 pm

Hi,
Greetings from Norway!
New member in the forum, first time user of Sniper product. Have experience with Ktag and Kess.

I did a reading of PCM with Special Forces (powerstroke)
The truck is a Ford F350 6.0 2006
Before reading we removed sct tuning box.

My problem is that the code on PCM unit give error when trying to make tune file also when using XXXX (filename)
File from truck is named VXCF0.XXXX.PCM
How do i get correct code to use in Special Forces?

Here is link to file:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/vgqhfbgqhtwzr ... X.pcm?dl=0

I have a tought that maybe i need fresh stock file to tune because there was used sct box earlier?

Best Regards Martin

All you need to do is rename the file that's in your Original Files folder. Rename it to: VXCF0.ZYU0.pcm
After you do that, you would use ZYU0 (that's a zero, not the letter O) as your computer box code. Also, you will need to confirm that the VXCF0.trm is in the Templates folder (ver. 19-older) or TRM Files folder (ver. 23).
