e85

Has anyone ran e85 with special forces? I'm contemplating running it, but I want to know if there's anything else in the tune that needs to be changed.

Not much needs to be done to tune for e85. Basically just advancing timing a few degrees.

There's a drop down for e85 in the program. What do you choose for octane.? I'm running a 50/50 mix of 91 and e85 . I chose e85 and 100 octane in the tune. It seems to run pretty good but I'm having a weird fuel pressure problem. For the first few minutes of driving fuel pressure is normal, then it starts to rise. It will bounce from 50 to 80 rapidly and cause a surge. Does this sound like a tuning issue?

Hard to say whether a tuning issue or not. Can you email me the tune you created? If so, send to: snipertuned@yahoo.com and please make note of the issue.
