That's good news!

Hopefully I'll be up and running sometime tomorrow...

I just did a full install for a friend with a Bullitt on Thursday using rev12. It went smooth as glass.

We went from sealed box to full tune installed in an hour. We did it at work which didn't make my boss happy!!!

Sorry for your problems, I have never had an issue but I do understand your frustration. Good luck and hang in there, the tech guys will get you fixed. 8-)

Did you try to load the tune more than the one time??

What was the file size when you looked at it in multi-loader?

Did you try to write the stock tune to a position other than 6 (from the original files or customer reads) and then try to reinstall it?

No matter you will be up on Monday. Now that I think about it, I have had on 2 occasions the interface flash 3 and 4 and when I turn on the key it just sits there. Both times I just tried again and it worked. :o

Yup, the interface now throws error 62 nearly immediately after pressing button A and turning the key on;

229,384 bytes, same as the same as the OEM .pcm file...

Yup, as I said the exception 62 code is thrown and the inteface will not do anything more...

I am hoping things will work out tomorrow--thank you for the help!

Yep, they will take care of you tomorrow. You might be one of the lucky few that needs a new interface.

When things get fixed you're going to love it. I also used other tuners and had few problems but not near the same capabilities. Hang in there.

I just called Sniper--good news first, after two rounds of "magic bullets" I am up and running with the OEM tune (safest bet for right now). And, as eveyone here had said, their support was excellent. I could have used it Saturday morning though, and would suggest that any new users wait 'til Monday 9:00 to 6:30 Eastern to do any flashing).

I told Chris that I had no confidence in this interface, his immediate response was "neither do I" which I found to be quite refreshing as compared to the far too common "you must have done something wrong..." many other vendors rely on.

So, I'm off to Sanford right now (about 85 miles from here) where I am quite confident we'll get things straightened out--though I probably won't be flashjing tunes on the weekend for a while...

I just got back from Sanford, Chris did some hardware tests on the interface, and reloaded the interface firmware, we them downloaded the OEM tune and loaded my custom (93 octane, cattedX-pipe, 3.73 gears mostly) with no problems.

Sniper's 93 octane tune is nice, the low-end torque is noticeably higher than with my twaeked Granatelli Fuego tune, the exhaust note at the low-end is nicer as well. There were cops everywhere around I-4 and when I got back over to the coast it was raining (Falken Azenis on the rear) so I can't really report on how the high-end feels...

Kudos to Sniper and Chris, there support is great--we did speak about the need for some way of delivering "magic bullets" during the off-hours and weekends, Chris said they recognise this need and have been trying to find a way that can meet legitimate user's needs without giving free tunes to the sleezeballs who would readily exploit such a system...

Just to note. When I said that I wasn't confident either, I was referring to your particular Interface box only. Not all Interfaces in general. Thanks for your patience and I'm glad its working for you now.

yes, Yes, YES !!! Absolutely!!!

I apologise for being imprecise in my reference--there is no way Chris' comment was anything other than a reference to my particular device and it's specific performance last Friday evening. In fact Chris expressed extreme confidence in the product line as a whole, and after meeting him and observing first hand his and Sniper's commitment to their products I find their confidence well-founded and infectious.

Also, I just drove 200 miles to Tallahassee with the Sniper 93 octane tune, this is in addition to the 90 miles from Sanford to Saint Augustine. I am very impressed with the performance of same--other than spending a day on the dyno pouring over a/f ratios and other nuances, I'm not sure there's much room for improvement with simple bolt-ons like mine.

I'm going toive it for a while and then hit the dyno, I'll report back...
