Special Forces tuning kit question

Postby Rich A » Thu Jul 16, 2015 7:57 pm

I want to know if the Special Forces tuning kit can read and save the changes made to my EEC-V ECU with a SCT chip installed or do I need to remove the chip?
I don't need to save the stock PCM file because the vehicle is off road use only.

No, the Special Forces tuning kit (or any of our kits) will not be able to read the tune that's loaded on a SCT chip. If the tune was flashed into the vehicle then our tuning kits would be able to.
To tune your vehicle, you would need to remove the chip and start from scratch. The vehicle pcm does need to have a stock file in order for the tuning kit to tune the vehicle properly.
