2007 F150 4.6 support

Post by Apwutcook » Sat Aug 25, 2007 8:42 pm

I have a 2007 F150 2wd crewcab 4.6. I know right now they are not supported but I want to know if they are planning support any time in the near future or do I need to look elsewhere? My box code is XUE1.
A couple of folks had told me to send the box code and they would check into it but I think I must have fallen through the cracks.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

It is available in Delta Force and Commando Right now. What level of modifications are your planning to your truck?

I am not doing anything major just some mileage mods I hope. A K&N air filter, flowmaster dual exhaust, and eventually maybe a gear change in the rear end. got to try and beat the 14-15 MPG I am seeing right now.
I also have a 2007 mustang 4.0 I would like to do some minor stuff to. That is the reason I was looking at the special forces interface to do both with the same insturment.

My bad. I thought I had sent you an email about this. As Matt says, the Special Forces is not currently availble for your two codes. We are working on them and hope to have them soon (at least a few weeks).

OK so now I have the special forces and it is supporting both my vehicles. I am pretty much stock on the 07 f150 4.6. I have cat back but other than that the only mod I have made is a hydrogen generator. I am running very little hydrogen into the MAF but it had helped my mileage by about 40%. I was looking for a little more. When I loaded the tune, I got a check engine light and it runs a little rough. I think it ran better with the stock programming. I am open to suggestions. Should I try telling it I have higher octane than I really do? should I adjust some on fuel fine tune?

seems to. I am still playing with it though. I failed to mention I have a K&N air filter installed. I don't know that it makes any difference, but I don't see a mod for that.

you should leave everything stock as far as mass air and injectors are concerned

I did that and it still ran like crap and had a CEL. The cruise control would not work either. I put my original file back in and everything is OK. So far I am not having a good experience with special forces. We will see what tech support comes up with. Seems they may have put this out before it was ready.

Pat is currently working on that. I sent it to him via email yesterday (7/30/08). We will see.

Not sure there is a whole lot of unanswered questions , The only thing we are trying to find out is why the SF is not working for you, as of now it looks like we are making a change for you and this should solve the problem. are there any other unanswered questions.
