'03 Harley gets a tune...

Post by 207 » Wed Sep 12, 2007 12:51 pm

Well, I took the plunge and loaded the first tune into the truck the other day. The numbers on the digital wideband and vac/boost look very good although I haven't taken it past 6lbs of boost or approached WOT yet.
It does seem to pull a bit harder with an improved throttle response.
It spun the tires starting off from a traffic light which took me by surprise.

I'm having some difficulty with the Recon datalogger, getting it to record, and a few of the PIDs aren't working which is weird because it worked OK on two "stock" datalogs. Not a big issue though because I have an AutoTap suite that can handle that until I get things ironed out.

Bottom line.... I like it. The SEG's could be habit forming though.

Jeff,

Glad it's working... You might try the newest database for Recon. That should fix your issue.
