2004 2v stalling

Post by 40willys » Wed May 29, 2019 7:50 pm

I have a 2004 2v in my 1940 willys. It stalls when I take off from stop. The motor is stock with automatic a/c and 4.10 rearend with 30 inch tall tires. It has shorty headers with the cats removed and it has no crossovers and the rear o2 sensors removed. The exhaust exits at the front fenders and as only screw inserts in the exhaust tips nearly no back pressure. Egr has been removed and has a cold air intake. I have increased the idle speed when it is drive it helped a little at first but it is now not working. It also seems to be rich at ideal also eve prior to me increasing the rpm. Any help with this would be great

What tuning software are you using,
Special Forces or Commando?
Have you done any data logging?

I suggest pulling the fault codes and running a datalog at idle.
RPM, MAF, STFT, TPS, ECT, Load, and Spark to start.
Post what you come up with.
