I don't think you have to tune for it if you leave the actuator hooked up do you?

Ok, heres some more questions on these deletes. Steeda sells two kinds three actually. They have the one that are NOS ready, plain deletes, the "Economy" type which means they removed the butterflies in them and they came from the Ford factory. So which is the best between the two if you don't have NOS? Or could you just remove the butterflies yourself and save your money????

I have installed the delete plates and at the same time a C & L racer cold air intake. The car ran dangerously lean I could hardly keep the car running. I got a Tune from SCT witch gave me all kinds of power but very little control in fact my throttle just opens on its own. You set the petal the throttle plates will continue to open. This is what led me to sniper the ability to tune my car my self. The Special Forces software will not get your car close enough to run right with the delete plates. I have very little experience tuning but so far I have not been able to get my throttle to work right. I took a SF tune and compared it to the SCT tune. I tweaked the SF tune with most of the fuel tables and timing similar to SCT and still had the same throttle problem. IT JUST OPENS when you give it a set amount of petal. SCT dose have the car running ok but not right and I would never recommend SCT they change a lot of stuff that should not be changed even the engine temp and close loop temps.

So are you saying that the car just tries to run away with just a little bit of pedal? This even when taking a completely stock file and just doing a SF tune or did you start with the file that was in the car instead of the true stock file?

You are correct it just runs away with load or with out load. I have started with the SF then modified comparing it to the SCT file. I can not run the car on the standard SF file or the FORD stock. So I can not load the SF file and see if it dose the same thing before modifying it.

Dude, put it on a Dyno. Next month thats what I'm doing. But I don't have the deletes yet. I was wondering if I should buy them and if there worth it.

I am currently running a few mods and one is including Charge Motion Deletes. I was thinking of getting sniper SF used from someone. But If I cannot use it with my CMDPs there is no point. So will i be able to tune it or not??

i have an 08 gt with the roush cold air and roush off road ex. system and i am also looking at geting the steeda charge motion plates. i am running the special forces system so if i can some how tune for those that would be awsome! also the roush intake has a peace in the intake to make the maf think it is the factory size so it does not throw the check light. if i take that out is their a way i can tune for the 4 inch cold air tube?

i have successfully deleted the CMRC plates and if you give me more specifics on the intake diameter around the MAF element I might be able to get your MAF transfer correct as well without the "fooler" in place.

Drop me a PM if interested...
