Diesel Parameters Needed

Post by Mattr66 » Sat Oct 13, 2007 12:37 am

Well I have seen some parameters elsewhere that I would like to see in VRAA6 since PMT1 is my favorite file of all time....LOL

Functions:
ICP limit for EOT

Not sure if the following parameters exist, but I need a way to soften the converter lockups with the triple-disc converters during light to moderate throttle.....
Scalar:
ConverterLockup Rate at Low TP
Converter Lockup Rate at High TP

Thanks Sidewinder

Use your TV Pressure tables per gear to control that. TP low use -values and ramp according to fuel (Tq) so you don't blow through the TC during acceleration.

The tv pressures only screw with shift firmness. The torque converter lockup has a seperate Ft pounds per second apply of the lockup clutch at low TP and high TP on the EECV computers.

We don't have access to this right now.

I have used the above with a combination of Converter lock delay and time for Converter clutch to apply. This might be all we have to work with now.

Yep... you are right that is all we have to work with right now. The precision converters with the triple disc lockup clutches are very harsh with the stock PMT1 file. I use this file to start with exclusively because it gives good lockups at WOT in any gear when commanded....... I just need to detune the part throttle lockups a bit.
