Windows 10 64bit compatibility

Post by amazingrandy1 » Sat Mar 25, 2017 7:14 pm

My laptop has Windows 10 and is 64bit. i just purchased the Ford Tuning Kit. Will the Delta Force/Commando V23 CD and the SF GAS V23 #SP-5000 discs work with my operating system? I do not have the Recon software, which i know is only 32 bit.

Thank You

As long as you have the latest version (v23) then you're good to go. However, as you mentioned, the Recon will not work with a 64bit OS.

If I was to buy the Recon software, would it work if my laptop was able to work in a 32bit compatibility mode? Also, are the set-up instructions going to be the same for windows 10?

Thank You

Yes, setup instructions will be the same.
If you have the Special Forces software then you already have the Recon software. It comes with it.

Special Forces comes with the Commando kit so you would have everything.

Hey Chris,

I am trying to install the Special Forces software now, and have come up with a couple error codes when trying to open a couple of the shortcuts. For the SF shortcut i keep getting a "Cannot find import: DLL may be missing, corrupt, or wrong version file. "MFC71.DLL", error 126". And for the Recon shortcut i get "The Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0' provider is not registered on the local machine". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Erik

I sent you an email of how to fix the .dll issue. However, in your email you didn't mention anything about the Recon. This error message you're getting for that tells me that you're running a 64bit OS on your laptop. The Recon software does not work with a 64bit OS. You must use a 32bit OS laptop.

Thank You Chris,

In regards to the Recon software, if I don't have a 32 bit compatibility mode, am I going to have to install it on an old CPU?

Thanks, Erik

Your Gmail. I forgot that Gmail will not allow the files I'm trying to send. It bounces them back. I'll need another email address other than Gmail.
