Bullet question

Postby 98LSC32V » Wed Oct 24, 2007 5:08 pm

I have used both my bullets. If I go back to stock tune on one car, I will get 1 bullet back. Can I use this Bullet to tune a completely different car?

Yes, once you program one of those cars back to stock you will get your Bullet back and then you will be able to tune a completely different car.

Does the stock tune for one of my cars have to be in position 6 to have it work or can it be uploaded into any position?

The stock tune can be loaded into any position to program the vehicle back to stock.

Thanks Chris, I couldn't upload the stock tune to position number 7 for some reason but then I uploaded it to position 3 no problems.

Yeah, position 7 is only for the trucks with the 6.0 liter Powerstroke engine. When you read one of those vehicles, the transmission tune is saved to position 7.

I always wanted to know the reason why on that and not being a truck guy, I didn't have a clue. 8-)
