Models available

Post by geoffav » Sat Aug 04, 2007 10:40 am

I have an 04 Mach1 with the MRT CAI, will the 3000L and the 3000C work with that installation? Is the only difference in models the flange size or body type?

Actually, the 3000c and 3000L were discontinued. The only meter now available is the 3000. The other two meters just had the stock Cobra and Lightning curves in a 95mm housing. The 3000 has our own curve which is supported with Special Forces.

I just bought one, not sure which model it is. If it's a C or L model will I have to do anything special?

I think it's a 3000L because it was installed briefly in a Lightning. It does have the 4 bolt mount which will work with my MRT CAI or in the GT (tt'd) with the end plate pulled.

If it is a discontinued series, can it be made to have the same flow curve as the current 3000?

I'm sure the one you have is the 3000. There were only a coupld L & C's sold and that was at least 1 year ago. They were discontinued quite some time ago.

I would like to know if you notice any difference with this MAF in. I wonder if it would get rid of the upper rpm stumble that these DOHC's all have even thou it seems the SF tune got rid of most of that. :D

Will do --- but if it goes on the Mach1 I'll just have drivability info not dyno data.

If I put it on the GT it will be on the dyno near the end of the month with a new motor (2V), better intercooler, and a pair of new BB turbo's. 8-)

Or I could do both :o

I think you're gonna be happy. We could tell a good difference. AFR was very close to 11.5-11.8 afr on with the lightning with the sf software
