Computer on its last leg

Post by 4eyedcoupe »

So my old dell that my software is on is pretty much toast. Its on 2005 Dell running Windows 7 and it needs to be plugged in to run bla bla bla. So really I'm curious what I need to do to switch the software and files to another laptop I have running windows 8. Thanks in advance for any help, or tips.

Do you have our Special Forces software or Commando software (or both)?
What version is the software that you have (v14, v23)?
Does your newer laptop run a 32 bit OS or 64 bit OS?

If v23 then you can just install that same software onto the new laptop/pc and will work fine. It will work fine (except Recon does not work with 64bit OS).

Yes, all previous files can by copied to a USB drive and and then saved into the same named folders on the new laptop.
