Have just installed Methanol Injection on my 04 Lightning, motor is all forged internals, stage 2 blower cams, ported and polished blower, TB,Upper/Lower Intake and heads. Boost is running 18psi with 9.1 compression. Currently running 14-15 deg of timing and have great power and fuel econ, have attempted to advance an additional 3-4 deg but found rough running condition on 3/4 throttle. Any suggestions or comments would be great!
Sorry for the delay the misfire was a result of a blown of meth tube that sprayed all ignition coils, yeah I know pretty lucky. Plugs gap is .025 with accel ignition coils, misfire is no longer present. Looking for possible combos of MAF, Inj and timing people may have had good results with.
