AF bank 1 to bank 2

Post by bbford97 » Sun Mar 13, 2016 7:14 am

I'm trying to install a slot style MAF in my 2004 mach1. is the difference in the AF ratio at the low rpm ok or do I have a problem. The RED volts is the MAF volts.

If I'm understanding correctly, it looks like idle is slightly rich (avg. 13.7 afr) and part throttle not bad at 14.5 afr. Did you go WOT?

no I only went to 3000rpm. I have the car locked in open loop. I do not have any information on the MAF and went to the PMAS site and copied the '"HPX transfer setting" scaled to .64 and started from there. I worked my way up 1500 rpm at a time to 3K. The traces came together around 2200. The car has after market cams. I was concerned to push it any further because of the difference at the low end.

To dumb it down for tuning purposes I make a flat fuel table say a target of 13 a/f for N/A and 11.5 a/f for boost. what we log with uses excel. We set the excel up to categorize according to maf numerically lowest to biggest. We also set up maf correction factors into the excel so it more or less does the transfer for you. You still have to judge the trends of rich or lean. I like to see a 40 page data log.
