For 93 octane, timing should be around 16* from 3000 rpms up.
If you're still get pinging then you need to check fuel pressure during wot.

I guess my question is what table or tables should I be using to get that final number? Im having a little trouble understanding how all the spark tables work together

The Spark Borderline Table is where you would make the change (see attached).

One thing Chris...I know this is late but they need to know to rescale to 1.999 load to actually control the spark at extended loads when boosted. I rescaled everything with commando. Then when I reached 1.94 load I rescaled the stuff that needs it to get the load calculated down. Sarchrg etc

Folks don’t realize when they boost that their load exceeds 1. Of course some Pcms just keep spark at the last cell, but who wants to throw away power

He needs to rescale the chart then lower timing to a safe level and catalog airfuels and spark, load, etc

There is a lot to a safe tune.
