Re: Vin mismatched?

Sorry about the voicemail but we are closed on weekends. We discontinued the I-2 programmer 5 years ago (maybe longer) so it's no longer something we support. The I-2 does have the ability to tune multiple vehicles but it can only do one at a time. So, this means that your buddies truck would need t...

Good to hear it's back running properly. I've seen before if the software sits idle for a long time this can happen.

Re: windows 10

Unfortunately the Recon will not work with a 64 bit OS and there is no update. However, with the newer pc's you're able to run the Recon program in a 32 bit OS mode. To do this, go to the Delta Force Tuning Folder that has the Recon.exe program. Right click on it and choose properties. Click on the ...

Re: Cant get my bullet back

Ok, the pcm is probably the problem. More than likely it may not have a vin programmed into it which would cause a problem for the Interface box.

What is the year, make and model of your vehicle?
Do you know whether the pcm in the vehicle is a reman or the original stock pcm?

Re: 5.4 2v swap in 99-04 mustang gt

Unfortunately, this is well beyond the Special Forces software from nailing down a solid tune. There are unsupported modifications that the SF software doesn't support such as patriot stage 2 heads, comp cams 270's. You would need the Commando software to tackle this project. With that in mind, It w...

Re: invalid box code

Unless you have all the stock Lightning files in the Original Files folder then it would be correct to not work. Keep in mind our software doesn't come with any tunes (stock or modified). It's only designed to modify files that are read from the vehicle (or files that have been emailed). When you op...

Re: ERROR CODE 1017

Few things you need to check that are correct. 1. Make sure the stock file is in the "Original Files" folder 2. Make sure the "Original Files" folder is in the Delta Force Tuning folder. 3. Make sure the stock file is the correct size (112kb, 224kb, 448kb, 531kb, 1024kb, etc..) 4. Make sure you're t...

Re: Fuel adjustment

If you're using Special Forces.... 1.5 would be the max rich you can go with the FT & PT.

If you're using Commando, the tables to adjust would be...
1. Stabilized Open Loop Fuel Table
2. If that's not working then you probably need to adjust the MAF transfer function.

If the car is running pretty good then I wouldn't think there should be much worry. However, I can look at the data log if you want to send it to me (snipertuned@yahoo.com). Make sure to include the year, make and model of your car in the email along with a note about the stft.

Re: 97 cobra tuning question

Just do the timing changes and leave the fuel alone. The initial tune from SF should not have made it that rich. After that, see where AFR is at and then make adjustments if needed.
Thanks for the bragging. :D

Re: 97 cobra tuning question

It's running too rich during WOT. You should be around 12.8-13.1. I would start with leaning the AFR. Also, since you will be leaning that out, I would also pull 2* out of low, mid and high (run +2* not +4*). Those changes should wake the car up even more.
