Re: code 73 & trouble finding file names from interface

V14 was discontinued 6+ years ago. We are now up to v23. If you're using a newer laptop/pc then that could be the problem. You're using software that wasn't designed for the newer operating systems. Most of the time we're able to still get it to work but if you're not computer savvy then it could be...

Re: code 73 & trouble finding file names from interface

Yes, you can send it in for us to check it out but before that, try one more thing. Because you're getting Available 0 and Used 0 this confirms that the software does not see the Interface box. Make sure your Interface is not connected to your pc. Install the v23 cd and click cancel when it tries to...

Re: code 73 & trouble finding file names from interface

No matter how many ecu's or how many cars you try to read you will ALWAYS get code 73 until you save whatever file is in position 6 to your laptop or pc. You wrote: "Doesnt matter how long I wait to plug it into Laptop." I'm not saying wait x amount of time to plug into the laptop. I'm saying AFTER ...

Re: code 73 & trouble finding file names from interface

So you have read another pcm (even though it's the same car). This is why you get the error 73. Follow these steps: Connect Interface to your pc. Wait minimum 5 seconds. Not waiting long enough usually causes the error you described. Open the Multiloader software. (did it open without error?) If so,...

Re: code 73 & trouble finding file names from interface

Is this the first vehicle using the Interface box on? Code 73 means there's a file in position 6 already (from a previous vehicle?) and it needs to be saved to your pc before it will allow you to read another vehicle. As far as the Multiloader. Are you getting any error messages when you try to open...

Being an Australian vehicle, we do not do any of the tuning for them. We do provide the software but BPT Motorsport does the development of the tuning. You will need to check with them.

Yes, it sounds like the ecm got erased. We should be able to recover it but you will need to give us a call while you're with our software and hardware.

Special Forces will not do that. You would need our Commando kit or we can write a custom tune.

Re: unstable MAF and question about maf

No, tuning will not effect vacuum. That is definitely low vacuum and can be the reason why it's running the way it is. I'd say you need minimum 13 inches vacuum. The fuel pump selection would not be causing this problem. Can you email me the tune you created (snipertuned@yahoo.com)? If so, include a...

Re: unstable MAF and question about maf

When you say "unstable", what is it doing?

In the software you would select "80mm Lightning" or "90mm Lightning" (depending on which one you have).

Re: Interface wont work, Programs crash, what am I doing wrong?

Either you didn't save the drivers into the correct location or there's a hardware issue (usb cable, laptop) or the laptop itself just isn't stable. The Interface box checked out good.
Do you have another laptop/pc you can install on?
Can you send me a screen shot of your Delta Force Tuning folders?

That's the entire error message? It looks like the beginning of a driver error message. Send me an email to: snipertuned@yahoo.com and write that you need driver error fix for your Multiloader and I'll send you what you need.

Re: Interface wont work, Programs crash, what am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure about virtual setups but our software should work fine all the way up to Windows 10. At times a driver may not install properly but you should have gotten an error message. Do you get any error messages when you attempt to open the Multiloader software (Interface must be plugged in)?

Re: Interface Drivers

Yeah, you just need that FTD2XX.dll file to be saved into your Delta Force Tuning folder (that's in the Program Files folder). Depending how old your kit it, the .dll file may be included on the Special Forces cd. Just install the disc (cancel installation) and navigate so you can see the contents o...

Re: Transferring ownership

That would be fine as long as he's using the same laptop. The new owner will just need to remember the name (yours?) that the software is registered under. If he were to get a new laptop and wanted to register under his own name then there would be a $300 charge.
