Re: unstable MAF and question about maf

No, tuning will not effect vacuum. That is definitely low vacuum and can be the reason why it's running the way it is. I'd say you need minimum 13 inches vacuum. The fuel pump selection would not be causing this problem. Can you email me the tune you created (snipertuned@yahoo.com)? If so, include a...

Re: unstable MAF and question about maf

When you say "unstable", what is it doing?

In the software you would select "80mm Lightning" or "90mm Lightning" (depending on which one you have).

Re: Interface wont work, Programs crash, what am I doing wrong?

Either you didn't save the drivers into the correct location or there's a hardware issue (usb cable, laptop) or the laptop itself just isn't stable. The Interface box checked out good.
Do you have another laptop/pc you can install on?
Can you send me a screen shot of your Delta Force Tuning folders?

Re: Interface wont work, Programs crash, what am I doing wrong?

That's the entire error message? It looks like the beginning of a driver error message. Send me an email to: snipertuned@yahoo.com and write that you need driver error fix for your Multiloader and I'll send you what you need.

Re: Interface wont work, Programs crash, what am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure about virtual setups but our software should work fine all the way up to Windows 10. At times a driver may not install properly but you should have gotten an error message. Do you get any error messages when you attempt to open the Multiloader software (Interface must be plugged in)?

Re: Interface Drivers

Yeah, you just need that FTD2XX.dll file to be saved into your Delta Force Tuning folder (that's in the Program Files folder). Depending how old your kit it, the .dll file may be included on the Special Forces cd. Just install the disc (cancel installation) and navigate so you can see the contents o...

Re: Transferring ownership

That would be fine as long as he's using the same laptop. The new owner will just need to remember the name (yours?) that the software is registered under. If he were to get a new laptop and wanted to register under his own name then there would be a $300 charge.

Re: Interface wont work, Programs crash, what am I doing wrong?

Scroll across was one of the options I mentioned. It should scroll across a few times and then all 7 stay lit.
You're definitely welcomed to send it in for us to check out.

Re: Interface wont work, Programs crash, what am I doing wrong?

When you connect power to the Interface (whether through the USB/pc or OBD/car) how do the LED's come on? Do all 7 of them come on at the exact same time or do the last 3 LED's come on followed immediately by all LED's scrolling left to right? If all 7 come on at exact same time then there is someth...

Re: Interface wont work, Programs crash, what am I doing wrong?

Keep in mind our software does not come with any tunes (stock or modified). It only allows you to create tunes after reading the stock tune from the pcm. Since you're not able to read the stock tune then that explains why nothing else is working. Error 25 is an engineering trouble code which is why ...

Re: 5.0 explorer template

Yes we do have a template available for the XDT3 (CQAB2) calibration. However, since it's an older vehicle (file size only 112 kb) we strongly recommend that you use a performance chip rather than flashing the tune in since there have been issues with the smaller 112 kb files.

Re: timing retard in between shifts

The manufacturers retard timing between shifts to help avoid damage to the engine. By removing the timing retard, some feel that performance improves and willing to overlook possible damage.

Re: Sort of off topic

When our tool reads the stock tune from the Ford vehicle, the file gets encrypted to our specs. Unfortunately you will not be able to modify this read without our software. If you bought our tuning kit then you can read, modify and then write back to vehicle. You cannot use our files with software b...

Re: F350 7.3 p1249 code

I've never seen this with a 50hp tune. Is this a pickup, van or Excursion? I've only seen this problem with the higher hp tunes on Excursions. After you ease up on the throttle, does the check engine light go back off?

Re: Sort of off topic

Not sure I understand completely. Our entry tuning kit (Special Forces) will allow you to tune 2 vehicles (that we support). After that, you have the option to purchase additional "Bullets" so you can tune additional vehicles. Bullets are just passwords that allows our hardware to work on additional...
